What is the process?
Microblading is a multistep process that will generally involve two appointments which your chosen technician. The first appointment will be the longest and most important, during this time your technician will draw a customised shape for you using a removable pencil. Shape is determined on several factors such as face shape, existing brows and desired fullness. Once the desired shape has been achieved and agreed by both client and technician anaesthetic cream will be applied. Microblading will then proceed, tiny hairlike incisions, then covered with dye. After the additional dye will be removed revealing your new eyebrows! You will be required to come back for a second touch up to add any additional strokes or create more thickness if desired.
How does Microblading differ from Semi Permanent Make-Up?
Microblading differs from Semi-Permanent Make-up/tattooing by the fact that the procedure is conducted using a manual tool rather than an electric device. Using the handheld tool pigment is deposited into the skin but not as deeply, the result is crisp, extremely natural and almost undetectable from your own hair.
How long do the results last?
Microblading tends to last between 12-18 months, we recommend that our clients come back and see us after 12 months for a top-up to keep their brows looking fresh!
Does it hurt?
Its completely normal to feel anxious about your procedure. We use a topical anaesthetic to numb the skin first and keep discomfort to a minimum.
Who can have the treatment?
As long as there are no contraindications microblading is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. If you have any concerns as to your suitability feel free to contact one of our team for a confidential chat.
How long does the procedure take?
Every clients session is different and can very from 90 to 180 minutes, we book everyone for a 2 hour slow so we can take our time to reach the desired result.
